Our Practice Team
The Kranichstein General Practice is a joint practice run by a male and a female specialist in general medicine, both of whom have completed many years of specialist training in a wide range of medical fields.
Jana Löckermann is fluent in Russian and Georgian. She also understands Ukrainian and Polish.
Olivia Franke speaks English very well.
Lea Sophie Erlebach has a good command of English and Spanish.
Our qualified medical assistants (MFA) – Elina Schneider, Ceylan Faik, Perihan Bozkurt and Jana Wrbanatz – are available to assist with medical procedures.
Ms Elina Schneider has a perfect command of Russian and a good command of English, whilst Ceylan Faik has a perfect command of Macedonian.
Ms Perihan Bozkurt speaks fluent Turkish and Kurdish.
Our new trainee, Fatma Zehra Özkaya, speaks Turkish fluently.
Ms Aleksandra Dragon will be joining us from 1 January 2025. She is a trainee specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. She is completing her compulsory further training period at our practice in order to obtain her specialist qualification.
She will be joining our practice until the end of April 2026.
Mrs Dragon speaks fluent Polish (mother tongue).
Dr. med. Horst Löckermann
Dr. med. Horst Löckermann is Family Medicine Consultant. He worked together with his father in the practice since 1978. Following the retirement of his father in 1986, Dr Löckermann has been leading the practice as single-handed. Dr Löckermann became a Psychotherapist in 1982 following completion of his postgraduate training. He is also a specialist in addiction and environmental medicine. Dr Löckermann has been representing the interests of family doctors in the last 40 years.
Mrs Jana Löckermann
Mrs Löckermann was employed as a Family Medicine Registrar in this practice between 2001 and 2004. She finished her postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 2006. In addition, she has special interests in public health, cardiology and surgery. She is a specialist in nutritional medicine since 2010. She became a partner in this practice in 2008.
Sie spricht russisch und Georgisch, versteht Ukrainisch und Polnisch.
Olivia Franke
Dr Franke is employed by us as a trainee doctor (ÄIW) specialising in general practice. She previously worked as a junior doctor at Alce Hospital in Darmstadt and in an orthopaedic practice. She has a good command of English.
Lea Sophie Erlebach-Shalabi
Ms Erlebach has been employed by us since 1 September 2023 as a resident physician currently undergoing further specialist training in general medicine. She began her specialist training in general medicine at Darmstadt Clinic. Due to family commitments, she currently only works in the morning. She speaks English and Spanish well. She is currently on parental leave.
Aleksandra Dragon
Mrs Dragon is a prospective specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. She has already completed her specialist training
at the Darmstadt Clinical Centre. She will be working with us from 1.1.25 to 30.4.2026. She speaks fluent Polish.
Mrs Elina Schneider
Mrs Schneider has been with us since 2009, first as a student practice nurse and later as a practice nurse. She completed her training as a practice nurse practitioner in 2013. She is qualified to do home visits alone. She is fluent in Russian.
Elina Schneider hat im Mai 2022 ihre Ausbildung zur NäPa abgeschlossen.
Ceylan Faik
Ms Faik has been working with us as a practice nurse since 2011. She has been active in all nursing duties. She finished her training successfully as a practice nurse practitioner in 2016. She also completed additional training as a practice nurse practitioner. Ms Ajdin is qualified to do home visits alone.
Perihan Bozkurt
Ms. Perihan Bozkurt has been working in our general practice as a medical assistant (MFA) since June 2018, following her training with us. She completed further qualifications as a VERAH and finished her training as a NäPa (non-physician practice assistant) in May 2022. Ms. Bozkurt speaks fluent Turkish. She is currently on parental leave but plans to continue supporting our team.
Ms Jana Wrbanatz
Jana Wrbanatz will remain in our practice team as an MFA after training with us and has good English language skills.
Fatma Zehra Özkaya
Fatma Zehra Özkaya will begin her training as a medical assistant (MFA) in our practice on September 1, 2025.
Thanks to her graduation from vocational school, she already has a solid foundation of medical knowledge.
She also speaks Turkish.
